David Boehler: No, it's along the lines of finding out plots like happened this weekend.
Elbert Donatelli: the patriot act is the reason you and I are typing right now, without it we would be over run by suicide bombers
Octavio Roylance: If you are not doing anything illegal. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Connie Dickirson: I have nothing to hide. Do you?
Sena Highman: taking away liberties guaranteed us by the constitution would make it a communist act
Colby Millberg: I'm apposed to the patriot act and want government out of my life.
Esmeralda Pigram: It's definitely NOT patriotic, as it removes civil liberties from U.S. citizens. However, it's not really a terrorist act or a communist act either. Misguided act is probably the best way to put it. Like sending out nuclear weapons to kill fleas.
Pam Rampadarat: It is not a communist act obviously. It probably will be once H. Clinton becomes the President. It is not a ! terrorist act on America, because it does not kill the US citizens nor damage the US property. It is an act to prevent any terrorist plots against the US citizens in the US. Does it make life a bit more inconvenient? Yes. However, is it a fair sacrifice for the safer living environment in the current world? Yes.Remember, freedom is not free. It comes with a big price tag and lots of responsibilities. For those of you who want "government out of my life", please feel free to move out of this country. You can't expect to enjoy everything that government provides, and then ask the government to "get out of your life"....Show more
Lu Tiner: no longer something. Bush and republicans enjoyed to call issues that sound rosy and in track with the human beings and in cohesion with nature, re: "The clean Skys"Initiative as though they have been going to concentration on pollution and the CO2.emissions. The 'wholesome Forests" Initiative" and then allowed his company acquai! ntances to clean shrink our forests. You get the image?? in ba! sic terms sounds stable yet potential sh*t.
Zelma Casebier: I wouldn't call it a terrorist or communist act...that would be extremism and reactionary. But I would suggest that it is inexcusable and cowardly of the president to prey on people's fears to implement an act that would strip a country of its privacy. And those who say they have nothing to hide...would you still be supporting this abolition of your rights if you were mistakenly identified or some of your actions were misunderstood - and you ended up in Gitmo? Afterall, perhaps it was only a joke that you posted on YA...but in the wrong hands, you could become a prime target for those who seek to keep America safe. Think about it......Show more
Wilfredo Muldoon: Bush loves those words: Freedom and Patriot/ism. It's just rhetoric.
