Jonathon Labonne: You don't need a lot of money because your not buying meat.
Lolita Deschamp: Not a good idea. You live because you eat, and most of the stuff you need from food ain't in smoothies.
Oda Mauson: easy, fruits and vegetables that are fresh from the green grocer are pretty cheap. moreso than buying anything else at your local grocer, it's very affordable, if you got the storage for these things that's adequate then you've got it made. well stored vegetable produce can last a short while. i spend very little weekly on tons of good green produce. i average $40 weekly and that includes soymilk....Show more
Eliseo Luma: That depends entirely on what you put in the smoothies! If we're talking about a mostly sweet fruit smoothie with a little greens powder added, no. If we're talking about something you bought at the store, then again, probably not.If you're making these smoothies from scratch in a high speed blender, and you're putt! ing some fruit, lots of different veg, and some seeds in, then sure! Vary what you put in the smoothies. Use bananas and oranges in one, papaya in another, apple or avocado in another. Put kale in one, spinach in another, romaine and celery in another. Use hemp seeds and chia gel in one, flax seeds in another, and raw almonds or brazil nuts in another. Throw in some sprouted buckwheat or sprouted quinoa sometimes. Don't forget to use hemp protein powder or sprouted rice protein powder for a broad range of essential amino acids. If you can put it in a salad, you can put it in a smoothie. Use your imagination, and vary what you put in, and you could actually live on smoothies. Make sure you combine iron rich veggies with vitamin C-rich fruits for best absorption. You might get bored of not having crunchy or chewy foods, but you could survive!...Show more
Lady Laflin: No, and I've never sat at a table counting out who's a meat eater and who's vegetarian or vegan.
J! onie Lauria: No I do not feel lonely. Colleen I think your con! nection to animals is a great side effect of your vegetarianism. I think you should try to communicate with them. If you can achieve meaningful two way communication, I may finally convert to vegetarianism myself.
Terrell Lawman: For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/axU2qIf you have had 4 wisdom teeth removed, the rest of your teeth must be tender too, so I can understand your wanting to drink food. Your system could still be in shock from the extraction, so it may settle down after a while - warm water is a gentle help. You need carbohydrates and proteins too. You could have soft rice ( simply add lots of water) or bread soaked in milk. Plain yogurt could help. Lightly cook vegetables before juicing them unless you know they are good, wash them anyway. Maybe a little less of fruit juice - too much fruit sugar is gassy....Show more
Lou Rought: It's pretty easy as long as you aren't buying the prepackaged or processed foodstuffs. If you s! tick to a whole foods based diet, it's actually cheaper that the average American diet.
Madie Strople: no you CANNOT live off of green smoothies, yes they are really healthy but your body needs fat and sugar and salt to live off of too which smoothies have practically none of that.
Hope Lundmark: Check out some of these cheap recipes.http://www.frugal.org.uk/recipes.htmlIt's actually cheaper being a vegetarian. Pulses, grains, fruit and veg, are actually a lot cheaper than meat. It's when you go for the 'mock' stuff, ie..mock cheese, that it gets expensive. Also stick to fruits and vegetables that are in season....don't expect to buy strawberries in the middle of winter....Show more
Inell Riesgo: Breatharians claim they can survive on air alone.
Olin Hallin: My younger sister is a vegetarian and I'm a vegan, so when she visits, it's real cool.I don't feel alone, but I am not very comfortable eating at the same table as my older sister and nephews 'cos ! my nephews always vocalize how well the meat taste. Not that they do it! on purpose.
Luis Mellon: Yes, I wish I knew at least one other veg*n
Terrell Voltz: I agree with Island Spirit. I feel especially connected with nature since becoming a vegetarian. Strangely enough, wild birds don't seem to be as scared of me anymore, something I really can't explain. There have been three different instances of crows just hopping along after me while I was walking near my house. I hope the bird flu isn't going around again...Dion J: I'm fine just being an observer. To try and enroach on their seeming acceptance would end up scaring them off....Show more

Kizzy Hett: Sadly, just breathing will NOT remove living things from your diet...every breath is chock full ! of bacteria, good and bad, and other minute creatures.
Francisco Schonhardt: ingest h2o without sophisticated sugars
Michelle Sohre: Not at all. Loneliness and companionship are not defined by who puts what in their mouths.Last week I went out to dinner at a sushi place with some friends. We had a wonderful evening. Who cares that they ate the sushi that did contain fish and I ate the sushi that didn't? We still shared a great meal together and enjoyed each other's company.@Colleen: I have actually noticed the same thing. I can only assume the fact that I don't regard animals as food in any way any more somehow shines through in my behaviour and that animals pick up on that. They seem to somehow know I am not a predator.I am also bothered far less by wasps than I used to be. In late summer they used to really harrass me, often going for the back of my knees and generally just not leaving me alone. They stopped doing that the summer after I became a vegetarian. I! guess maybe my sweat smells differently now. It's the same with mosqui! to's: I still get the odd bite in summer, but they don't assault me in hordes like they used to....Show more
Christiane Cattano:
Rose Krouse: Most vegetarian foods are already cheap. Its only the prepared prepackaged stuff that's not. Like the boca burgers and stuff like that. Buy your veggies in the frozen food section. You can get 3-4 days worth of veggies for $0.99. Buy large containers of seeds and nuts too. That is good protein and will last a real long time.
Oda Mauson: Cheap vegetarian foods: dried beans, canned beans, any canned vegetables, rice, pasta, frozen fruit/veggies. Buy in bulk whenever possible. Some stores (like Whole Foods) sells grains and other things in bulk for a pretty good price. Also look for sale produce. Stick to natural foods, not highly processed crap because that's where it gets expensive. My favorite cheap and easy meal is a block of ramen noodles, some cut up veggies sauteed (can be fresh, frozen, or canned), plus some te! riyaki sauce or whatever sauce floats your boat. (You can add tofu chunks too if you want). Cheap, easy, quick, and delicious!...Show more

Hunter Beech: Living On Green Smoothies
Josefine Weekey: Apparently good vegetables and fruits like Italian tomatoes are quite expensive where I come from, so for low budget I go for cereal and oats, homemade salads, and tofu. Those are really cheap.
Craig Virani: get running day-to-day
Nikita Schroepfer: You absolutely could, so long as you have fat, protein and carbs in every smoothie (i.e. Blueberries, banana, Whey Protein powder, Hemp protein powder (extra fiber),Amazing Grass Green Superfood and coconut oil.
Miguel Densley: Yes, you can live on just smoothies and juices (home-made, not pasteurized) alone and feel excellent. The nutrients in raw juices go to your bloodstream immediately without any digestion involved, so you get in! stant energy. I wouldn't recommend a long-term juice/smoothie "diet" if! you're not well-versed in nutrition.
Sunshine Holets: it depends on what you put in them. all you need to be healthy is to have a varied diet of fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. technically, you can put any of these in your smoothies. (beans and grains would have to be cooked or sprouted first). nuts and seeds go great in green smoothies. As long as you rotate your greens, fruits and veggies everyday, you can be healthy. You'll probably get bored without chewing your food anymore.
Gaylord Barragan: You cannot live on it cause your body requires a lot more then what smoothie can give on it own e.g fat cause your body needs fat and you will also get abit bored after a while
Luke Kosch: We buy rice, dried beans, canned foods and vegan soups, some frozen fruit (smoothies! :D), and in bulk. We also shop at farmer's markets, where the produce is cheaper than organic produce at a regular store... You could also grow your own organically t! o reduce the cost a lot! :D
Bailey Lares:
Derick Kinnard: Budget wont be an issue. If you are going vegetarian you will discover you save a lot of money.
Cierra Gadbaw: Fairly easy actually...I'd hedge my bet that the vast majority of the world embraces vegetarianism out of ecomomic necessity rather than pure desire. However, that being said, they are benefitting healthwise from this lifestyle. I would say, get to know the various vegetarian ingredients of the world...as best you can...Like: Grains: rice, wheat, millet, quinoa, etc..., Pulses: Dried peas, lentils, legume (beans), Meat alternatives (different types of tofu, nut butters, seitan, gluten), Fruits & Vegetables. Branden Round: Any ideas?
Rashad Marecki: It is possible, IF you get the balance right in terms of nutrients and the like, and if you are getting enough calories. It's a delicate balance though so you'd have to be careful. If you are intending to use a smoothie to replace an entire meal, it has to sustain you, as well as provide a good chunk of the nutrients youâll need for the day.Make sure you drink a nice, thick, calorific smoothie â" remember this is a meal, not a light snack! Susan Rambo: I think it is important t! o get pulp from fruit but I don't remember why so look into that. You c! an add anything to a smoothy. My husband put fruit which turns to juice & he adds frozen peas, spinach, celery. etc.I have never thrown in Almonds & other nuts & seeds. Please share what you put in your smoothies.
