What should I do for my birthday?

Leann Villalta: The main thing that requires NO money & NO friends to do it with is to go on a nice interesting walk. Either in the countryside or in the town.Yes, of course, you do have to get to where, so if getting there is a problem you just have to go on a walk starting from your home.If you're into photography and have a camera you can make the walk into a sort of photography expedition. This has the advantage that you can then share your photos with your absent friends via Facebook or the like.Alternatively you could volunteer your services for a group that could use them. Charity shops, care homes, parks & garden maintenance, I don't know what exactly, that depends where you can get to with no money.Or you could do gardening or house maintenance at home. You could put your favourite music on & just get to it. True, this is not the conventional way to celebrate a 20th birthday, but then most of the conventional ways require friends & money. Then when your frien! ds come back & when you do get some money you can fall back on all the usual ways to celebrate. The actual celebration doesn't have to be on the actual anniversary of your nativity. It could be days, weeks or months later. Well why didn't you celebrate on your birthday? That's easy, I was skint & everyone was away....Show more
