HELP! There's a bleach monster in my house! (It may bleach me)?

answers 0:I've lived in the same flat for over a year and a half now, but about two months ago I noticed a streak of a bleach stain on my bath towel. My first instinct (of course) was to assume my boyfriend accidentally wiped his hands off on my towel after using some corrosive product, but he begged amnesty and I let it slide. But then, the following week, there was a streak on his towel, too. We don't use bleach in any of our laundry on a regular basis and hadn't bleached anything for a few weeks, at least--and certainly not our lovely blue towels.Still blaming my better half, I made him swear to be more careful and went out to buy two new towels. Only now, again, within a matter of weeks, more bleach stains appear. There hasn't been any change in our cleaning products or habits, an! d the only bleach product I use in the bathroom is a mildew remover I spray around the window--which is on the opposite side of the room; besides, I only do that every six months or so. The streaks look like someone has wiped their bleachy fingers across the towels, and not like adventurous mist from across the room.Again, it's just these bath towels--none of our other laundry is affected, including the hand towels. What is happening?! Why is there a bleach monster in my house? And if it tries to eat me, how can I ensure it goes after my boyfriend first (so I have enough time to escape)? If you tl;dr this but decide to comment anyway, at least make sure you're a hilarious troll and not answering something like "Well u probly just didn't wash your hands after bleach" because I will gut you. I wear gloves whenever I use any corrosive product and then wash my hands like I'm Lady Macbeth. Towels are expensive *whine*....Show moreanswers 1:when running from a monster, rememb! er: you don't have to be faster than it, just faster than the ! next person running.answers 2:Perhaps its from face wash or someone pouring detergent directly onto the towels. With the detergents today, they are so concentrated. Always allow the washer to fill and start to agitate before adding soap.♥answers 3:Maybe it has something to do with all of the socks that go missing. They are getting their revenge.answers 4:If you are using an acne products or any personal care products it can happens if they contains benzoyl peroxides or derivatives. Although is uncommon but your dental care products can cause that if you wipe off residues from your mouth with a blue towel. Use plain white towel for things related with your face. Hope this helps.answers 5:Well if he eats you then your problem is solved! If you want your boyfriend to go first hang a towel on him.
