What are some organic foods?

Flor Lizardi: bread, milk, yogurt, rice, fruits, veges, etc check out this website

Teodoro Lamond: go to the grocery store and check out the organic section, eat what you like.

Joie Libutti: Organic food labels are really a misnomer.Look up and define organic and inorganic.Virtually any food that is grown naturally without the aid of chemicals and fertilizers is considered organic.Meat that is raised naturally without hormones or other chemicals is considered organic. Most organic foods require certification that they are indeed organic. This helps you identify what truly is and is not organic. So just look for labels to identify the product as organic, you will find fruits, vegetables, and meat.Organic food typically is more expensive because it requires more care and certification....Show more

Ricardo Rozelle: check and see if you have a wholefoods near by. They have everything organic.

Roxane Leathers: J v is right all foods are organic it's when ch! emicals are added to keep them fresh or forced grown do they become what you buy in a normal way most super markets or grocery shops have a range of foods that have not have chemicals used on them

Kara Tabian: In the scientific sense all foods almost all foods are organic. all vegetables and meats are carbon based, therefore organic. eat what you want.

Cody Petrulis: Whole Foods is the first certified organic grocery store in the US. Where there is a vast variety of options in the organic realm, there is a process to retain it's organic quality and the Whole Foods Markets are the best place to shop if this is a concern for you. Yes, all fruits and veggies are basically "organic" but today on farms, many pesticies and fertilizers are used to retain the "look" of produce. A farm that is organically certified does not use these products and the land has been "cleansed" through a four year growing cycle. Check out their web site for more information about orga! nics and the products they carry (which is much more than just! produce!!)....Show more
