Leora Klingelhoets: Well, you'll have a 4 year degree so you can use it for anything in that general sense; such is the case if you're having trouble finding a job you can take on generic positions such as retail. But if you're asking about other business areas to launch a career -- not a whole lot of flexibility unless you got quite a few upper division coursework done in other functional areas (i.e. accounting).
Jude Kennelly: Finance is probably a stronger degree overall, with higher starting salaries and greater potential for executive positions in the long run, but you can't use it for just anything - not everyone is looking for a finance major (just as not everyone is looking for a management major).
