Donovan Stallons: Study for the GRE and get your masters. Or move somewhere and go to a school that doesn't require the GRE. If you get your masters you will be more desirable to schools and you can command a higher salary. Plus masters looks better when the economy is down and jobs are tight.
Micah Schwarcz: Many Master's programs that lead to certification are in person... because they require student teaching. However, Obama is pushing for more alternate ways to get certification, and with political pressure, I believe more of these online programs will be accepted. As you plan on doing one anyway, check out Walden University's online program. It seems pretty well respected. Even if it doesn't lead to certification in your State (each state has different laws), the coursework will count toward a lot of your certification requirements....Show more
